Life With Zee
A few years ago, I was a freshly minted graduate with a passionate desire to create something impactful. However, I was at a loss as to how to actualize this aspiration. Fast forward to the present day, and I find myself immersed in the dynamic field of marketing, traversing South Africa in pursuit of my professional endeavors. The wealth of experiences and encounters that I have had the privilege of engaging in have been nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me awe-struck! Unfortunately, I have noticed that in modern times, trivial metrics such as social media follower counts have become the primary factor in determining who has the right ‘influence’ to share their stories with a wider audience. If you ask me, I’d say it’s BS and doing a great disservice to our community. So, I embarked on this adventure to create a podcast that would serve as a platform to showcase the fascinating stories and insights from a diverse range of personalities, such as business founders, influencers, content creators, corporate executives, PhD candidates, and more.Consider this podcast as an invitation to a quick coffee chat with me, where you get to tap into a wealth of inspiring stories, reflective narratives, and invaluable tips. Now, sit back, relax and enjoy a snack as we embark on this journey! —————Like the show? Feel free to buy a cup of tea to support https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Lifewithzee

EP 36 Ashton Pienaar: Below Deck, Building Men Up & His Book
Grab your sunnies because we're going on a cruise down the Below Deck lane! This week we drop anchor and chat with TV personality, coach, husband and author, Ashton Pienaar about his journey!
Although the season Ashton featured on was filmed and aired 5 years ago, it has recently made an appearance on Netflix in South Africa, reviving some conversations from many years ago.
To address this, Ashton has agreed to sit down with me and chat about:
- How he got into yachting and his experience with the show.
- How he dealt with the drama and backlash that came after the reunion.
- What he has learned about men's mental health on this journey.
- What he'd hope we'd employ as society when it comes to social commentary and
- His recently launched book that shares his journey of self-reflection and self-discovery.
Make sure you listen to the end because this one is a goodie!
