Life With Zee
A few years ago, I was a freshly minted graduate with a passionate desire to create something impactful. However, I was at a loss as to how to actualize this aspiration. Fast forward to the present day, and I find myself immersed in the dynamic field of marketing, traversing South Africa in pursuit of my professional endeavors. The wealth of experiences and encounters that I have had the privilege of engaging in have been nothing short of extraordinary, leaving me awe-struck! Unfortunately, I have noticed that in modern times, trivial metrics such as social media follower counts have become the primary factor in determining who has the right ‘influence’ to share their stories with a wider audience. If you ask me, I’d say it’s BS and doing a great disservice to our community. So, I embarked on this adventure to create a podcast that would serve as a platform to showcase the fascinating stories and insights from a diverse range of personalities, such as business founders, influencers, content creators, corporate executives, PhD candidates, and more.Consider this podcast as an invitation to a quick coffee chat with me, where you get to tap into a wealth of inspiring stories, reflective narratives, and invaluable tips. Now, sit back, relax and enjoy a snack as we embark on this journey! —————Like the show? Feel free to buy a cup of tea to support https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Lifewithzee

EP 25 Amber Denae Wright: Beating Breast Cancer & Influencing
When I found Amber on Instagram I KNEW that I had to get her on the Podcast to share her story! Not just about the incredible and mostly-heart-shattering journey she's been on, but about how she managed to bounce back and shed such an incredible light in this world!
Besides laughing at the random balloons that popped up on the screen in the midst of our chat, we also touch on:
- A highlight reel of her journey with breast cancer, from being diagnosed to being in remission (ps we continue to pray healing and health over her!)
- How she pivoted from being a professional finance girly to interior design and then into modelling + content creation.
- She shares advice for other people going through and witnessing their loved ones go through fighting cancer.
- She talks about marriage and how their couples content is like a form of therapy at times (all the married couples who have seen their content can attest that it's therapy for us too) and
- What she wish she knew sooner in life!
Listening back on this episode was super refreshing!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, and for those of you struggling right now, I hope this brings some light and love and laughter to you too 🤍
